Sundays At the Rocket Park

Psychedelic indie sunshine pop for kids of all ages. Filled with jangly guitars and swooning harmonies, Todd McHatton's second full length record connects the Beatles Yellow Submarine with Nilsson's the Point, the occasional tuba, and some full on rock and roll. Sundays at the Rocket Park packs a classic whimsical British pop vibe overflowing with fun and adventure. You never know what's coming next, even over the course of the same song. Its ornate life-sized puppet cast of characters swirls around in a sea of charming colorful chaos. Reviewers have made favorable comparisons to The Flaming Lips, The Polyphonic Spree, Meat Puppets, the Shins, Jellydots, and the Hipwaders. Kids Music That Rocks called Todd McHatton's first cd, Grass Stained Twilight, a "popliciously psychedelic kids' album." Zooglobble picked Todd McHatton's Holiday Album "Christmas Songs (a brief collection of holiday fun)" as one of their favorite Holiday Albums of 2009. "The Art of Irreverence" said: This is THE indie pop album of the season. It's been compared to The Flaming Lips and The Shins. In what world would you not want to obtain this EP immediately? You'll thank me later. Sundays at the Rocket Park was recorded in a solar powered studio and features guest appearances from both of his children. Fans of Sid & Marty Krofft, Yo Gabba Gabba, and the Beatles should not miss out on this.

Watch for review in a future posting.

Ultimate-Guitar.com
Ultimate Guitar Archive was started on October 9th, 1998 by Eugeny Naidenov (aka zappp) - a student of economic faculty of Kaliningrad State University, Russia. The first title of the site was Zappp`s Guitar Archive and it had just a handful amount of guitar tabs by 10 artists ...though it was started just as a home page! As the site grew,...

diysearch
What is diysearch all about? Heh, well. To put it simply, diysearch was created out of frustration in 1996 by me (david palmer). Back in those days there wasn't anything like this, and the major search engines just didn't spider these little out on the fringe sites. Yes, google has done a pretty damn good job with their pagerank system in...

AmbientMusicGuide.com
AmbientMusicGuide.com started life in 1992 as a reference book manuscript. In 2001 it became a website, in retrospect one of my better life choices. The years of accumulated grief from shopping it around unsympathetic publishers soon disappeared as the site gained a following and allowed me to grow and revise the content as the years passed. It...
